More pictures

Things around here are good. Dustin went to work today so it was my trial day to see if I was going to make it or not. It was actually a great day. Ally was such a good girl, I got my shopping I had to do done, some cleaning/laundry/dishes done. I think it helps that Lil' D slept from 11:30pm-5:30am, then Ally woke up close to 8am. So I got a good amount of sleep!!! Wish that was repeated more often!
Anyways.....I will let you know how all of next week goes~Dustin will be at work everyday........... YIKES!!

Looks like he is very nervous that the whacko standing over him is going to drop the camera.

His daddy got him all ready for bed.... bless his heart!

he already looks annoyed with all the pictures being snapped

Ally is all ready for bed too.....just has to clean up & away she goes!

Dustin went back to work & Alexandra MISSED her daddy like crazy. So he got home & got bombarded by her! So they are playing play doh in the garage. :)

HELL....that is about it.

Right......all I can say is HELL! I swear I have to approach this mom of 2 differently. Some days it is just perfect & wonderful, but the majority of these days that keep passing by are kicking my a$$! Dustin has been home helping out......but I feel like I need 5 more people here with me.

Alexandra......bless her heart, is the best big sister anybody could ask for, but she is definitely become the most whiny 2 year old that has mastered the tantrum like no other. As soon as I start to feed the baby, she needs 30 things. She also goes to the opposite side of the house to get into anything & everything she can......so if you could picture me going through the house holding the baby while he is stuck to my boob.....that happens at least 4 times a day. If Ally would stop the whining, I think that maybe 1/4 of my sanity would come back!! As soon as I start to clean anything or try to organize anything, there is Ally needing something or pushing my 10 piles of laundry onto the floor etc. Maybe my lack of patience & my overwhelmed feeling is some sort of post pardom. I have no clue. I just know that it will get better & easier! :)

So is 2 years enough time in between kids? I still am going to say yes. Only because I could see a 3 year old having the same issues........or similar ones. Plus... I look at the future & how close that Ally & Little Dustin will be & that just makes me happy.
If I can just make it through a few more months without absolutely losing it I think everything will be great.

That is my venting session for now. :)

our memorial day weekend...

We left thursday late afternoon & went over to Desert Aire. Dustin's parents have a place there that we stayed it. The weather was cold thursday, then very windy on friday, saturday was gorgeous & sunday was nice also. We came home today (sunday) so we would miss ALL the nasty traffic.
It was nice to get away for a few days!!

~I think that my favorite part of the whole trip was on the way home right by the preston fall city exit, a black bear ran across the freeway right in front of us. It was not good that it almost caused multiple accidents, but it was awesome to see.~

Grandma pushing ally on the merry-go-round~ she was fine at first, then wanted nothing to do with it.

At home playing in the pool with daddy (cold outside though)

Grandma & Grandpa Holmes with Alexandra & Little Dustin
Here is Lil' D. He was there I promise...just didn't get tons of pictures of him there. he spent most of the trip sleeping. ;)

CONGRATS TO SARA & STEVE

I don't have any pictures to post... just yet.........but

WELCOME TO THE WORLD:
COLE MCGOWAN STREDICKE!
born: 5-18-2008

5lbs 2oz 17 1/2 inches
He was born 6 weeks early & he & mom are doing great!!
we love you!!

Little Dustin & Alexandra

Ally is so happy to be able to kiss her little brother again! Not sick anymore!! (He was hungry, but she thought he was kissing her) It was cute!

Me & my babies!

I was trying to get a good picture of him in this outfit, but it is hard. Brown compliments his skin tone. But it doesn't show it really well in these pics.

Miss Ally Lynn

She looks absolutely miserable & sick. The funny thing is.....she was doing this for attention. She has this thing now, since she threw up...she now says that she is going to puke all the time. She will walk around the house with a bowl in her hand. So this is not her sickest day...but she is a great actress. She has all the looks down!

In the pool with daddy!

We FINALLY got new carpet!

Ally has been sick the last few days...so I painted her toes & nails so she could feel pretty. She loved it.

We got new carpet. Mikey came over & put it in for us! THANKS MIKEY!! Ally was daddy's big helper while he was ripping the carpet out.

Being goofballs on the floor

Pool Party

Not so happy

Poor Ally fell off the stairs just like this while riding her trike, she was pretty tough about it!!! Dustin said he saw her fall then roll in the dirt... boo!! Getting hurt is NO FUN!
