Good Job Dustin! :)
As most of you know Dustin is in Montana hunting & fixing up our house over there so we can sell it. He got to Dillon on saturday & Rocky drove over. They went hunting sat. evening & sunday. Dustin shot his deer on sunday. 3 point. So 1 down, now just an elk to go. I think they were elk hunting. At least he will be coming home with something!! :) So I thought I would share with all of you.

Do you like the meat from the deer and the elk? I never did but I know most guys do..It's the hunter thing..

I think next time you would do better to leave out the pictures and just tell the story.. Everyone thinks he killed someone related to Bambi!!

well on this blog there will be pictures of dead stuff. fish, deer (hopefully elk, crab, etc. The story is not the same without the picture.

No one relates a fish or crab to anything sweet and cute.Elk that on is a maybe..much bigger..but Deer..I'm telling you all everyone see is bambi!! Now that isn't saying any thing bad..so I get to say it..

I always feel bad for the poor crabs, I think they die the very worst! ha haha!! Well I guess when I watched bambi I understood why his mama got shot. Cold hearted??? NAH......just grew up with hunters. I know....when I posted it I laughed cause I knew certain people wouldnt like it. To answer your question, yes I do like the meat, just as long as it is not too gamey. But the burger & sausage usually is good, not gamey at all cause you can doctor it up. :)
It's just fun giving you a hard time. Believe me, I've seen my share of dead elk AND deer. Bob was an AVID hunter!! We sometimes found dead deer mice in the freezer that he was planning on getting tested for rabies. Dead animals are dead animals...but teasing you is too much fun...I will not stop. :)
