Little D is 2 months old today

Already 2 months old!! He had his check up today. He is short, fat with a small head ;)


He weights 12.5lbs (68%), he is 22.5in(35%), his head is 37.9cm(11%)
I think they could have stretched him further for the length, but that is fine I will take it.

He is healthy & everything is good!! Right where he should be!! He got 3 shots & then the rotovirus vaccine. They do that one in their mouth now. They just drink it down. Dustin did very well with the shots, cried just a teeny bit. He is our tough boy!! Mama was proud.

I finally to Lil' D to get his 1 month pictures taken, of course Ally wanted to get her picture taken too. Everytime we go to babiesrus she says........mommy I want to say cheese!

Big Toe Blister

Not sure how good you can see this, but this is Ally's biggest blister on her big toe. The majority of them are just little raised red bumps. There is a little one on her little toe too.

Finally Little D's room is almost done!

There are still some things that need to be done. Like organizing and stuff like that. I also want to add a few things, like a shelf with little tonka trucks/machines on it, the hamper that goes with the room & stuff like that. I also need to get some things out of the room- Like the stroller & the storage container etc. But I am sooo happy with the paint & border. Makes the room so much better!!

Another thing....

Do not trust 2 year olds!

I started to have a bit of trust in Alexandra around lil' D. Well not anymore. She got put on lil' Broda restrictions.

Yesterday Little Miss Alexandra~ picked her little brother up out of his swing and carried him over five feet to the little play gym type thing that is on the ground. I did not see it happen (maybe I am glad about that). He didn't cry or anything so I am assuming that he didn't get hurt, but MAN was that SCARY. I came around the corner.....saw the swing going......no baby! Then I saw Ally on the ground with her brother. She got BUSTED!

So now I have even more reason besides her having the coughs for her to stay away from her brother.

So not only does sick season suck.........hand foot & mouth disease sucks.
Ally has that. She did well with it. Grumpy cause I think she was in a bit of pain, but she has little blisters on her hands & feet~ I think she had/has some sores in her mouth too......she keeps saying that she bit her mouth when she eats hard food. So needless to say.....she gets all the popsycles she wants. Not only does she have it, but I think I am getting it. I have little bumps coming on my hands......so I am hoping that is not the cause of my sore throat, but if it is, it is. SOON.......it will all be over, then I will pull some money out of my A$$ and go on a freakin vacation!

fevers suck

So last night I got a fever..It was almost 104. So I have not had a fever in forever.....I cannot remember the last time. It is horrible......miserable.....just aweful. My jaw was chattering...I had the worst chills ever.......My legs were super tight from clenching I think. It was nasty. I thought it was done with today...it was just 99. well it snuck up & attacked me at 3:00. Another high fever. It is hard to break it also, I had to take a combo of 2 advil then 2 tylenol. Plus a sore throat & a stiff achey body and a runny/stuffy nose.
I really should not complain......it really could be worse, but it is summertime......what is all this sickness! I think this is what Ally had.......Dustin (big Dustin) is getting it.....he is achey from head to toe. uuugghh. Just sucks.

So if I dont post for a couple days.....this is why. We are a bunch of sickies.

I just want to tell everybody in the world.........when you are sick.-STAY HOME- when your kids have a fever- STAY HOME, keep them home for 24 hrs after!

No sharing drinks or food!!

Here are a couple videos of Dustin flipping Ally. It is there little thing that they do & she loves it, one is a "drunk flip" I think she was so dizzy that she couldn't quite get there right. :) It is so much fun to watch them play & such a nice break for me ;)

she was cracking up. She has been doing SO GOOD potty training. She was almost potty trained until I went on bed rest, then that went down hill. So we started again, she really didn't want to at all this time, but diapers are expensive so mama put the smack down. She still has a diaper at nap & bedtime, but other than that- BIG GIRL UNDIES! She goes # 1 & 2 in the potty. she doesn't even like the elmo potty anymore...it has to be the "big one". Whatever... I will take it. I know that they say not to force them~ I just gave her a BIG PUSH. She is doing great!

When we went to the doctors the other day, she had to have this mask. Probably because she got one at baby cole's house & felt super cool.

I asked her to go & get my glasses for me, she came out with them on. Dustin was laughing & took a picture......I of course told her she was going to go cross eyed

I just love these moments when she is so super soft & sweet to her baby brother. She loves him, but get a bit wild sometimes.

Needless to say........VERY EXCITED!! I would have liked better seats, but what do ya do.

(maybe I am rebelling-my mom would not let me go when I was younger)

Updates & Pictures

I have been to the doctors office twice this week........2 days in a row- once for Lil' Dustin & today for Ally. Lil D has has the most horrible gas ever. I talked with the nurse on the phone a couple times & she thought it would be best for him to come in to try to make sure it isn't reflux. So... the doctor just thought that it could be a combo of my diet (whoops-too much caffeine) and a little tummy bug. So I will just watch him for a while longer. Also.....so I know his pictures add like 5 lbs to him, but they weighed him and he weighed 10lbs 13.5 oz. (so take off a couple oz for diaper) 10lbs 11.5 oz. What a chunk!! Ally was 10 lbs at 2 months. he is going to be about 1- 1.5 lbs heavier than her.

Then we get home and about 2-3 hours later Ally has a 102 degree fever. She wakes up throughout the night......so I assume it is her ears. Plus...she has not poo'd in 3 days so "her back heurts". (in ally words)
Anyways.....doctor just says he thinks she picked up a virus. Oh and Ally was 26.8 lbs. My lil' peanut :) Ally also told me that she thinks Dr. Scholten is nice. She asked me if I like him & I said yes, then she said mommy...you think dr. scholten is nice? I said yes i do, then she said- mommy...do you kiss him? I said no Ally mommy doesn't kiss him. Then she said, but mommy, well....dr. scholten is nice. This was all in the exam room with the door open. I was just laughing trying to pack up my crew. She found no humor in it. Now she will probably tell her daddy that mommy kisses dr. scholten. HELL...I might as well I am there enough. ;)

So 2 NOT NEEDED trips to the doctor......except for peace of mind I guess. also very glad that there is nothing wrong, well nothing worse than a little bug.

isn't it summertime??? what the *F* is with all the sickness around. YUCK! I think my hands may fall off from all the purell!!

Ally has become a complete DADDY'S GIRL"~ Every time she gets hurt she needs daddy...not feeling good......daddy. No matter what, it is all Daddy. I think it all started when he was home for over 3 weeks. Daddy is a lot more fun than mom these days. She freaks & gets super excited when he gets home & is ALL OVER HIM to play & just snug with her. She went & laid on him when he laid down on the couch to rest after work. It just melts my heart!! :)

Don't even think about it Alexandra Lynn Holmes!-she has such a guilty look!!

She loves to try to get into all of her "baby broda's" stuff. She knows the rules & knows she will get busted. She will even bust her friends & cousins if they try to touch his stuff while they are over.

So I think I sound like a whiny baby complaining about things so... I just want to say that I am extremely lucky & blessed to be able to stay home with both my kids!! I would not have it any other way and I could not imagine not being around for every new little thing that they do.

Time flies by so fast- my kids are growing up so fast- changing everyday- If I had to work.......I would not get that time back with them. I am just thankful and so grateful to be home with them, but like to complain & vent some too~ that must make me a better mommy, getting stuff off my chest. ;)

This was a disaster. Dustin was sitting in the chair, Ally got on his lap, then wen I was done getting Lil' Dustin in his jammies I put him on his lap also. Well Let me just say that there are like 10 pictures that are either the baby crying or Ally crying or Dustin yellin at ally... it was definitely interesting.
