Ally completely LOVES & smothers her little brother. He will learn to love it. I understand why she loves him~ what is not to love. He is very easy to love all over.

We have been home for 1 day now. Things are going well. Alexandra is adapting pretty good. She has had a few break downs, but other than that happy as can be. She is getting tons of Daddy's attention! She feels pretty special!
Lil' D is doing great. Everything he should be doing.......eating, sleeping, peeing & pooping. Tonight he stayed awake for almost 2 hours........so I am hoping he will have a quiet night. :)

Ally loves to dance. She will always look at Dustin & say... Daddy.... I wanna dance. So we pump up the music & our little white girl boogies. She can do the sprinkler.....she of course put her own twist on it. I have it on film on Dustins camera, so you will have to wait for that!

Today is the day!

Today our little boy will be born!!!!!!!!!!!

So yesterday at my ultrasound/amnio....it was interesting. So of course on the way to the appt. I told Dustin, wouldn't it be something if they had to take the baby today. Then it wouldn't be so predictable etc.
Well~~ fat mouth me! So they started to do the ultrasound & got one of the head guys. My doctor was in there with me. My fluid level was low. SO they told me I might have to have the kid that day. OF COURSE...I start bawling like a 2 year old that was just told No. I was laughing & crying at the same time. They ended up sending me up to my doctors office to get a stress test on the baby....he was completely fine. Kicking & moving- happy little guy! Needless to say they sent me home & today I will check in at 2:00pm & have our baby boy at 4:00pm.

rigghhhtt...... So I have been in between my parents house & my house for 3 weeks now. So my camera is here & there...
I do have a bunch of cute pictures of Alexandra.....but I don't have my camera at my house to upload them onto the computer......so soon... well hopefully soon!

UPDATE:
I am 36 weeks & 3 days now. I had to have my no-contraction meds increased, but other than that things are going as they should. Still on bed rest. 3 weeks & 3 days now.... just 6 days to go until our baby boy comes into this world. Then some more laying around for me.....then FINALLY back to normal, well at least I will be able to move around etc.

Dustin is finally doing some work in the babies room. I wanted shelves etc in his closet, so he is chasing Ally around & putting them in as I am typing this. :) YAHOO!! Then we need to paint & then we will be pretty much done with the room.

So...I will try to post pictures before our baby is born..but no promises now!!

Update....35 weeks

Sorry no pictures lately! I will upload some this weekend.

So I am 35 weeks today. I had my appt. yesterday & baby measuring & sounding great! Everything is still planned as it was. I asked my doctor if the baby could come out at 36 weeks, but she didn't think it was too good of an idea....which I knew. They are already taking him 3 weeks early.


So amnio on the 24th. Then c-section on the 25th. I am nervous cause I really don't know what to expect, but I am sure things will be fine!!

So I was home over the weekend which was nice & now I am back at my parents house for the week....my mom is off work for spring break so my dad is getting a little break! :)

Keep crossing those fingers!! :)

Another Update

So I am 34 weeks & 2 days today. So the baby is still cooking away!!


I am still on complete bed rest & will be until April 25Th. (my scheduled c-section)


Lots of help from people! My dad is taking care of both me & Alexandra during the week. Since I get to go to the bathroom & take 1 shower a day, he chases Ally around... feeds her breakfast, lunch etc, he has been awesome. My mom has all next week off for spring break, so she will fill in for my dad! But Katie has taken Ally for play dates & time away. Mandy came over & relieved my dad on Thursday with baby carter. So I am so greatful to have people helping & tons of people offering to help!!

I will keep everybody posted!! I am home on the weekends & at my parents during the week. So I really don't check my e-mail there.
